Musichemical Manifestation," will be presented twice during
the first week of November. The first show is for Creighton faculty/staff
and their families and Creighton students. That presentation will
be Tuesday, November 5, at 7:30 in Rigge Science 120. The second
show is intended for the Omaha community (e.g. high school students
and their teachers, American Chemical Society members and their
families, etc.). It will be Wednesday, November 6, at 7:30 in Rigge
Science 120. Both programs are presented in celebration of National
Chemistry Week. A bag of "Chemistry" goodies is given
to all children attending. [See

celebrates the 119th birthday of Chemistry at Creighton University!
On November 14, 1883, Fr.
Fr. A. A. Lambert, S.J. gave a lecture on combustion. From that
beginning, the university began teaching chemistry on a more or
less permanent basis.
This day is the anniversary of Professor Donald Baumanns birthday.
On this day, the Chemistry Departmentannounced the 2002 - 2003 Baumann
Family Scholarships winners: Josh Waetzig andTrish Hoette (Read
